Call for papers, panels, and roundtables for the 2026 National Conference on Peace and Conflict Research in Malmö, 19–20 November 2026, organized by Peace Research in Sweden (PRIS) and Malmö University with financial support from Campus Total Defence


Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the National Conference on Peace and Conflict Research, which will take place in Malmö, Sweden, on 19–20 November 2026. Researchers employed by or affiliated with Swedish universities and research institutes are warmly welcome to participate.


This conference provides a unique opportunity to strengthen the Swedish peace research community. This year’s theme, Polarisation, Resistance, and Uncertainty of Peace: Current research and emergent priorities in peace and conflict studies, invites reflection on the evolving challenges and opportunities in the field today. The conference aims to bring together scholars, senior as well as junior, to share research, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration across disciplines and institutions.
